The festival traditionally offers a wide range of courses and camps for all levels and ages, from beginners to professionals.
The courses are taught by many professional dance teachers and choreographers, both international and national.

If you have paid for your course by 30th April 2024, you can pick up your festival pass from the festival’s own Shop & Info points located at the Music Centre or Dance Pavilion at the start of the event on 12th June 2024 from 10:00am onwards. Be prepared to prove your identity when picking up your festival pass.

With the festival pass, you can buy tickets to performances at half price. The discount only applies to same-day performances and if seats are still available. The festival pass cannot be used to buy tickets online.

Recommended age: The recommended age is the age group for which the course teacher has tailored. You can also, at your own discretion, participate in a course of a different age group, if you think you will blend in.

Level: The courses are divided into three levels. In addition, there is an open level as an option.

  • Basics: You don’t necessarily need previous experience or you have only been dancing for a short time. Or maybe you want to dive into the basics of the genre at a more peaceful pace.
  • Intermediate level: For those who have some previous experience of the genre.
  • Professionals and advanced: The level is intended for dance professionals or professional students, as well as adults who are advanced in the dance genre in question.
  • Open level: You can come to the open level class without any previous experience. However, the teaching is tailored in such a way that there is sensible and level-appropriate content for participants of different levels. Everyone, from beginners to advanced and professionals can participate.

As a part of the festival, there are special education courses and camps of Ballet school of the Finnish National Opera as well as a dance camp for boys.

As a novelty, we organize day camps for small children.

Please read the camp information carefully before booking.

The accommodation package includes school accommodation with a mattress. The dining package includes lunch, dinner, evening snack and the next morning’s breakfast. Accommodation and meal packages are booked separately for each day.
