Internship

Join Kuopio Dance Festival as an intern!

Are you interested in working in the cultural and events sector? Kuopio Dance Festival is the largest dance arts festival in the Nordic countries, bringing together dance enthusiasts, professionals and audiences from around the world every year. The festival will take place on 7–13 June 2027, featuring international performances, a diverse range of dance courses and free daily events throughout the city.

The internship offers you the opportunity to get behind the scenes of the festival and develop your skills in the cultural and events sector. Working hours and arrangements can be adapted to fit your studies. The internship tasks can be tailored and combined according to the intern’s own interests, skills and goals.

You are also welcome to suggest your own project or thesis ideas. If you have a project, task or other idea that you would like to develop as part of your internship or in collaboration with the festival, we would love to hear about it. Don’t hesitate to share your ideas!

You will get the most out of the internship by committing to several weeks and working throughout the entire festival week.
