Kuopio Dance Festival is an international dance art festival that brings together dance enthusiasts, professionals and spectators every year. We are known for our smooth organisation, friendly service and genuine enthusiasm that’s truly contagious. At the heart of the festival, you’ll find yourself surrounded by an international, warm, and energetic atmosphere!
We’re looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and team-oriented people with a positive attitude and good communication skills in English. We also hope that you can commit to your chosen role for the entire festival. We look for volunteers to work in areas such as security, traffic control, course assistants and customer service at the Shop & Info desks. Tasks can also be combined to make your volunteer days more varied and interesting. Shifts vary depending on the role but are typically over 6 hours per day.
As a volunteer, you are an essential part of our festival family, and we want to ensure you get to enjoy the experience as fully as possible. As a thank-you for your valuable contribution, you’ll receive a festival wristband valid for the entire event. It gives you free access to ticketed performances and the opportunity to join courses when available.
