For visitors

Each year, we recruit volunteers for roles such as security assistance, traffic control, course assistants, and customer service at Shop & Info points. We value teamwork, a service-minded attitude, and language skills. It is important that you can commit to your chosen role and its working hours. You can find more information on our Apply to volunteer page.

Courses and camps can be found in our online store. You can also find more detailed information in the course info page.

We don’t have a dress code – the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and enjoy the performances. Come as you are!

Our partner hotel Original Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi accommodates the festival artists. The festival teachers and technicians are accommodated by Forenom. You can also explore the Hello Kuopio website to find all accommodation and services in Kuopio for a successful visit.

Photography during main programme performances is not allowed. Taking photos is permitted during the curtain call. We also appreciate it if you mention @kuopiodancefestival in your social media posts. The free entry programme can be photographed freely.

If an age recommendation applies to a main programme performance, it will be stated on the event page.

The free entry programme is suitable for all ages.

Kuopio Dance Festival is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for everyone. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behaviour. If you witness or experience harassment, please do not hesitate to report it to the on-site security personnel or festival staff.
