3. Name of the register
Kuopio Dance Festival Association’s customer register (courses, performances, experts, newsletter subscribers).

4. Purpose of processing personal data
The primary purpose of the processing of personal data is the management of customer relations (purchase, sale, booking, marketing, information).

5. Data content of the register
Basic personal data (varying according to whether it is a ticket purchase or a course or seminar booking). Name, address, telephone, email, purchase history, name of guardian in the case of a minor, contact details and any health restrictions of the minor.

6. Regular sources of information
This customer data is collected when they make reservations/purchases, either through Ticket Point or through the sales system on the association’s own website. Or when they register for the newsletter. Also, when there has been verbal or written contact with the customer and they expect to receive further information.

7. Regular disclosures of data
The information contained in the register will not be disclosed to third parties. If the recipient of a newsletter, bulletin or marketing letter requests that the material not be sent to them, the data will be deleted from the register and will not be stored in databases outside the register.

8. Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA
Personal data will not be transferred outside the territory of EU Member States or the European Economic Area. For courses and seminars, the register contains manual lists of participants, which are destroyed once the events have taken place.

9. Principles for the protection of the register
A) Manual data
The register contains printed lists of participants for the week of the festival (participant check at the door, name and payment details, destroyed after the festival).

B) Data processed by Automatic Data Processing (ADP)
Your personal data is properly protected. The controller collects the data in databases that are protected by firewalls and other technical means. The databases and their backups are located in a locked room of the association. Access to the data is restricted to pre-designated persons employed by the association. In the case of printed attendance registers, pre-designated course secretaries also work during the festival week.

10. Right of access
Anyone in the register has the right to check the information stored in the register. Informal requests for verification shall be addressed by e-mail to the registry administrator salima.peippo(at)kuopiodancefestival.fi 

11. The right to request the correction of information
Every person in the register has the right to request the correction of inaccurate information about him or her. Informal requests for correction shall be addressed by e-mail to the registry administrator salima.peippo(at)kuopiodancefestival.fi 

12. Other rights related to the processing of personal data
The data subject has the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning him or her for direct marketing, distance selling and other direct marketing, market research and public opinion polling, as well as for the purposes of biographical and genealogical research.
