Kuopio Dance Festival offers a wide range of content and benefits for dance professionals.
For the first time, members of Teme can now get a basic ticket for half price for performances by proving their membership at the box office. The benefit can be used for same-day performances when space is available.
The festival has a broad course program, which includes courses especially for professionals. In addition, it is worth to take a look at the advanced-level and open-level courses. In the festival’s new course sales platform, buying more than three courses at the same time gives you a 10% discount, and buying more than five courses gives you a 15% discount. Payment methods also include flexible Klarna installments.
The seminar content is free for all and will be published during the spring. The seminars will cover dance, culture and well-being from different perspectives, with interesting speakers.
Kuopio Dance Festival also has the honour of awarding the annual Tanssin Nuori Tekijä -award (translated young creator of dance), worth € 8,000. The prize will be awarded to a freelance dancer or choreographer aged 30 or under who is making a promising breakthrough in the field of dance art through their performances. It is hoped that the prize will act as an incentive and a springboard for the young artist’s career. The prize is funded by Keele Foundation.
Naturally, networking with colleagues and spending time together with high quality dance is also an important part of the festival experience. We warmly welcome all dance professionals to our festival. See you in Kuopio!
