Dance Challenge

Kuopio Dance Festival has challenged four well-known Kuopio residents to dance lessons in the form of a charity project. The participants will take dance lessons of local dance schools Dance Flow and SalsaStudio during the spring and the challenge will culminate on Monday 17th June at 8 pm on the stage of restaurant Maxim. Each participant chooses a charity target in advance and Kuopio Dance Festival will invite companies to support the challenge. The public will vote for the winner and the raised amount of money will go to the winners charity target. 

The dance challenge was bravely taken up by a photographer Nanna Hänninen, festival host Tatu Säisä, KalPa captain Tuomas Kiiskinen and board professional Mika Sutinen.

The event is free of charge.

Maxim opens at 3:00 p.m. The charity menu is offered from 17:30 to 19:45. Showtime is at 8:00 p.m.

The programme will be hosted by Juha Jylhäsalmi.

Dance Challenge has its own special menu (material in Finnish)! The price includes a three course menu and a table throughout the performance. From each menu sold, €10 will be donated to charity.
