The Carnival Parade is a revamped version of the traditional Kuopio Dance Festival parade. The idea is to bring colourfulness, southern European carnival atmosphere and the excitement of dance to the city’s street. The parade is a playful competition, with prizes awarded to the best teams. The parade will proceed from Snellman Park to the market square, where the groups will present themselves on the Savonia stage.

The Kuopio TALKS seminars explore interesting topics, especially from the perspectives of dance, health, culture and art. The seminar series also includes Kuopio Highlights, organised by the City of Kuopio.

Dance Jams are a joyful dance experience for children under six years old in the magnificent enchanted forest in Shopping Centre Minna, inspired by Finnish nature. Dances are held twice a day in the morning and in the afternoon.

Changes are possible, stay tuned.
